Hi, I’m Krystie (she/her)! 👋🏼

Growing up, I was often called bossy, loud, and opinionated, and you could almost always find me writing whimsical stories at the kitchen counter. All signs were pointing to my future as a creative activist and social entrepreneur—but it took me a while to get here.

After spending my young adult life chasing the quintessential Asian American dream, I took a chance on myself: I said goodbye to Corporate America and dove in head first to rediscover my creativity and work on projects that could shape culture for the better.

As a manifesting generator, I’m a curious multi-hyphenate who enjoys dreaming up new ways to do good in this world (namely in the realms of reproductive justice, women’s health, and education). I’m currently the Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief of Slant’d (a nonprofit Asian American publishing house) and an independent brand, community, and storytelling consultant.

As an enneagram 2w3 and ENFJ, I feel most fulfilled helping people realize their potential. As a coach, I offer 1:1 mentorship services and creativity workshops to empower BIPOC dreamers and doers to live more vibrant lives.

When I’m not channeling my energy towards causes that move me, you can find me scheming in one of my many journals, perusing local bookstores, cuddling with my dog, or dancing under the moonlight with friends.
